Evelyn Hayes
The Painted Sands, owners Louis Tobin and Betsy Peacock, helped in the creation of the Travis AFB Historical Museum. Stored airplanes and parts, till restoration became possible. Louis Tobin passed away in December 2023, he is laid to rest at Sacramento Valley National Memorial Cemetery, Dixon California.
This Ranch not only about aviation. The Painted Sands breeds some of the most beautiful, and very well breed, Paint and Quarter Horses. They also are involved in the collection of equine blood, for human research and development.
