Our teachings are mainly based on the teachings of Jesus in the Bible, but we also draw upon modern day writers such as Deepak Chopra, Wayne Dyer, Neale Donald Walsch, Eckhart Tolle, Marianne Williamson, and others. We believe that there is only one God but many paths to God. We recognize and use other names for God interchangeably, such as the Universe, the One, the Source, All That Is, The Great I AM, and Mother/Father God. Awakening Spirit Church embraces and welcomes all races, colors, sexual orientations, genders, ages, creeds, religions, national origins, ethnicities, and physical and mental abilities/differences.
