I have grew up with this association as sort of a second family. Definitely a second home for me, or as they call it- home away from home.
I have been around with my grandfather who taught me everything I know, from working till sunup to sundown, to survival skillets that have saved my life from the elements of the gloomy, dark, secluded forest where we run our 1000 head of cows. From the 23 members that make-up the association, my grandfather was one of the very first, and set a precedent for me to follow in his footsteps to become the cowboy, to the cattleboss, to the ranch foreman, and eventually the presidency. See, there's no in-between with managing livestock, you either raise/work them to produce high quality beef for the people of the world, or you raise them for the land they undertake as caretakers of the land- I call home. The land, cows, wildlife and natural resources are equally balanced and are in an everlasting cycle, coexisting with one another since the beginning of record keeping. I love this life! Try it!
