For over 30 years Marlys has transformed off the rack garments into clothes that actually fit the person who wears them. Cutting her teeth on custom bridal and quinceanera gowns, these days she focuses more on alterations (though, the occasional bespoke item isn't out of the question...). She gives back to her community by volunteering at a local high school where she teaches teenagers how to sew.

So so disappointed in Marlys. My sister went there to get her dress hemmed and she asked how much it would cost, Marlys didn't respond and waved her off. When my sister picked up her dress a few days later, Marlys charged her $45. Other seamstresses that we know charge $20 for hemming a dress. She rips people off. If only we knew that she charges so much in advance, she'd never have went to her. Also, previously when our family went to her, she had normal prices and stated her prices before actually altering the clothing.
Definitely not coming back.
