Awful awful salon and customer service. I came in with my boyfriend's mother to get our nails done at this salon, she's been going to for over 8 years! Very surprising the way they acted to a loyal PAYING customer of almost a decade. Anyway, the issue happened to me. I just asked for the normal pedicure I believe it was priced at $25. During my pedicure, the man doing my toes dug sharply into my left big toe. It wasn't until later that evening and the next day I realized the damage he had caused. I was visiting from out of the state and was on vacation. This man ruined my time due to the massive infection he caused me.
We had called the salon the next day to inform them of the issue and the woman on the phone said to not do ANYTHING to it. Not only was my infected toe oozing, inflamed and puffy, but I was also in an immense amount of pain. You don't realize how much you use your feet until someone damages your toe and causes problems for you.
So I left it to try and heal on its own for the next few days. And to all our surprise (not) it wasn't getting better. Thankfully I called and made an appointment to speak with a doctor who prescribed me some antibiotics. My toe finally healed up about two weeks after the salon visit (thanks to the antibiotics).
I was appalled that a salon would treat its customer of 8 years so poorly since I had called the salon and demanded that I be refunded for the pedicure, for my boyfriend's mother who paid, and for my antibiotics, which I paid for. Her friend, Kevin, who owns the salon was extremely rude to me over the phone saying "these things happen" and I replied: "these things don't happen and you need to make it right!" Kevin said that my boyfriend's mother would instead of getting refunded for the pedicure, get a free service of some kind for herself and the money would be refunded to me for the antibiotics. NEITHER of these things has happened and it's been a month since the visit. Kevin refuses to make anything right in this situation. Horrible customer service, please do your research and skip this one!
