I recieved my new insurance on April 1 2021. I went in for ex rays, exam, and a treatment plan. After that was completed we came up with a treatment plan with my annual $2500 dental benefit. My treatment plan was to fill teeth 2,3,4,5 and crown teeth 7,8,9. My out of pocket expense would have been $273.00 minus $111 because one of the teeth to be crowned did not need a core build up. When I went in to have the treatment plan work completed they did not fill any of the cavities and did crown impressions for teeth 7,8,9,10. They put in a temporary device in until the crowns were made. After the visit as I was checking out the woman said I owed $589.00. She said the insurance company only paid for 3 crownsand I owed for the fourth. I explained to her that was not my original treatment plan and cost. Now they got paid the 2500.00 from my insurance company and are refusing to take the temporary device out and complete the work they were paid for. I contacted the BBB to hopefully get this resolved or I am going to have to start a civil suit for dental negligence because I have tried to resolve the issue with the office manager and show her the discrepancy between my treatment plan and the explanation of benefits and she was not even willing to look at the paperwork to see the error and fix the descepency.
