Our family was torn apart by Immigration issues. CVCC assisted us in locating an attorney, walked us through the beginning process, and made sure we were protected by our Victims of Crime Application number, which when issued, allows for a U-VISA to begin. Excellent and caring They specialize in difficult cases Domestic Violence, Parenting and Sexual Awareness Classes are also available. No payment is needed if you are a victim of a crime. They said like, rape, murder, high jacking, sexual molestation, stuff like that. All you need is your crime report and you are good to go. Appointments are only made by calling the message line or Admin number. No walk ins. Nice, homey, large offices with lots of room for large families. Very caring people, been doing this victim work a long long time it seems, as they know what they are doing to help. Our visa are now in the beginning process and we are safe, with an umbrella of Victims of Crime to protect us and if we do get picked up, we have our attorney number memorized, so no problem, no deportation. They said having a place to live and a job hellped us a lot, as ICE does not like to send prople across the border 'home' if they are rooted and payting their way here.
