My experience with Brian Reynolds and his business, Livewire Entertainment DJ Service in Cedar Rapids, Iowa goes as follows: Rehearsal: -Rehearsal was the day prior to the wedding at 4:30. All bridal party members were on time so rehearsal started at 4:30 exactly. Brian was visibly annoyed to be there which caused discomfort for many of the bridal party members. He did not have the music prepared for the ceremony so the bride played them off of her cell phone. By 4:40, Brian left. He did not assist with organizing the ceremony, as listed on his website as part of his services. Wedding: -Guests began being seated at 4:00. Music was supposed to be played during this time, as decided in prior meetings with Brian. No music was played during the guest seating. -Brian played the wrong song for the bridal precession. -Brian was visible during the ceremony. He texted multiple times during the ceremony where guests could see. -The bride and groom asked to do their parent dances and first dance prior to cutting the cake. Brian’s response was, “you have got to be kidding me! I already have it arranged otherwise, so no.” The bride and groom had to do it Brian’s way. -Any song requests from the bride and groom and/or guests were denied including the groom’s request for him to play Everlong by FooFighters which was a cornerstone to the entire ceremony. -Brian did not display an understanding of basic DJing skills such as BPM transitions.
