After the October 2011 winter suprise that left us without power for almost a week we finally decided to make the investment in a whole house generator. I did a good bit of research on the subject and on the available contractors. Will from Stewartstown Electric took the time to explain the options and costs in a greater detail than my first contractor. He was even able to work within my price range. His crew did a awesome job of installing the generator quickly with minimal disruption to the electric or gas service during the days of installation. He made the necessary trips back to correct one small issue with the generators' monitoring device and cleaned up well after the work was completed. I like the fact that his local company is available whenever necessary to provide service to the machine they installed and are familiar with. It is nice to have the security of knowing that if the electricity goes out, the generator will come on to provide power not only for my family but an option to help out the neighors with keeping food cold, etc. Thanks to Stewartstown Electric and Will Long. Stewartstown Electrical Service is just awesome. I have called them a couple of times, and they have always responded quickly and professionally. On one occasion I simply had an inspection done because of frequent power surges. Matt was thorough, and professional. He fixed a couple of obvious small problems in our panel box but more importantly, offered great advice that led to solving the overall problem through my electric company!
