A belated thank you to Teri for her help with both my dogs. My younger dog, Malcolm, needed an energy outlet so we took her agility class. He loved the activities and stimulation. Teri was great about noticing what Malcolm and the other dogs responded to, and when modifications were needed to help them get to the next level. While we were in the class, there was a young energetic, unsocialized dog that needed some extra attention. She seamlessly gave the dog and his owner other exercises to do that helped the dog learn to reign in his excitement around other dogs, working towards incorporating that dog as a full participant in the class at the end of the series, while still keeping the rest of the class flowing. Teri also came to my home and helped me with both dogs when I was pregnant. I needed some help reigning in their energy and getting tips for getting them used to the baby once she arrived. She gave us some great guidance on walking safely with a stroller and when we came across other dogs (one of my dogs is excitable and protective) and how to keep the dogs busy with games and toys once baby came home and time for walks was limited. She's a very capable trainer, highly recommended.
