The Franklin Art Center will have morning, afternoon, evening and weekend art classes for 4 year olds to adults in a wide variety of media.

Young artist classes will focus on lines, shapes, patterns, and colors-developing fine motor skills through cutting, tearing, and folding paper, while creating drawings, paintings, and collages and learning about various artists and seasonal topics. Students will learn how to hold a pencil, understand and draw basic shapes, follow directions, stay on task, increase their attention span, enhance their vocabulary, gain self confidence and self esteem, and prepare for Kindergarten. After school classes are available for school age children and will focus on advancing each child's individual skills. Classes will run on a 6-week schedule and are also available during school and summer vacations. The curriculum is based on the Massachusetts Visual Arts Frameworks. We also offer Art Parties
