An adventure for the senses... At Legacy Ballooning, we specialize in hot air balloon flights, tethers, engagements, pilot training and sales.

We generally meet around sunrise or two hours prior to sunset. Inflation takes about 20 minutes, after which, passengers board. The flight lasts approximately 1 hour, give or take 10 minutes. During this time we drift effortlessly and almost silently over rivers, woodlands and farms. There is no wind, as we are moving with it! Altitudes range from tree top height to several thousand feet. Part of the romance of ballooning is drifting with the wind, never being entirely certain of the adventure ...

However, while in the air, we maintain radio contact with our recovery team. Upon landing they meet us with champagne to share with our landowner and return us to our launch field.
