We generally meet around sunrise or two hours prior to sunset. Inflation takes about 20 minutes, after which, passengers board. The flight lasts approximately 1 hour, give or take 10 minutes. During this time we drift effortlessly and almost silently over rivers, woodlands and farms. There is no wind, as we are moving with it! Altitudes range from tree top height to several thousand feet. Part of the romance of ballooning is drifting with the wind, never being entirely certain of the adventure that lies ahead. However, while in the air, we maintain radio contact with our recovery team. Upon landing they meet us with champagne to share with our landowner and return us to our launch field.

Pepperwood Farm is a full service equestrian facility in Fuquay-Varina, just minutes from Raleigh, NC, specializing in boarding, training, breeding, and sales of Welsh ponies and warmblood sport horses. The farm is nestled on 118 acres and consists of a two-barn boarding facility, a 216'x100' indoor arena, a lighted outdoor ring, a round pen, a jump field, and trails.

This two-story residence was built around 1910 by James D. "Squire" Ballentine, one of the early civic and business leaders of the Fuquay Springs community. This is a well preserved late Queen Anne style house with Colonial Revival details. According to Ms. Melinda Coleman, "It is one of the most substantial houses in the Fuquay Springs Historic District. The house was added to the National Register study list in 1990 and is one of the finest examples of its period and style to survive in Fuquay-Varina."

WHO WE ARE Master Gelo's Martial Arts teaches Kali Tai Jitsu which is a blend of Modern Arnis, Shaolin Kenpo Karate and Yang Style Tai Chi. What We Do Kali Tai Jitsu develops the "No Mind Way" which teaches instinctive techniques that can be used any type of altercation.
