We are also directly near Shopko if you have other shopping needs, and just down the road are Big Boy's, Arbie's, Pizza Hut, Subway, Burger King, and Hardee's.

I stay at the Beachcomber whenever I am passing through Manistique. The previous managers could have been better at Motel maintenance but the new managers are excellent!
You will not find a better lodging deal in the entire UP for a motel that is right on Lake Michigan

I've stayed at the Beachcomber Motel several times and I love the fact that the Sun rises right over Lake Michigan and can be seen from my Motel room if I open the curtains.
The Beachcomber is just like a more expensive motel room because it has everything that I need, but at a more reasonable price.
There is a wonderful walking trail that follows Lake Michigan and it is right outside my motel door.
