Small businesses usually generate better support, quality, and overall customer service in comparison to larger organizations. Empire Hosting is an example of the superior quality one seeks for web services. I am unsure as to why the company does not have more reviews, given the affordable rates and superb customer service they provide. I have been a customer for many years and can definitely attest to the overall up-time (99.9% annually) and reliability for the services rendered to me. I use Empire's services for a variety of uses (ranging from FTP, e-mail, and general hosting), and would highly recommend this company. If a problem arises, support goes above and beyond to explain in intricate detail how the problem arose, how it was fixed, and how it could be prevented in the future (which is definitely a gesture of courtesy, as opposed to the standard business that would charge for such resolutions). I will continue to be a loyal customer in the years to come, and wish that I could receive the same customer service that Empire provides to me, when interacting with offline customer service reps in everyday life.
