*****AVOID****** FV Appliances (out of Fountain Valley), a company that posts used refrigerators for sale here. Maybe I can warn others. They offered me a Subzero 642/S that had been "checked thoroughly" and was supposed to be "in good working order", including a 3-month warranty. The unit delivered had several issues: - The icemaker did not work - The door seals were ripped and had paint stuck to them - The serial number sticker of the unit had been removed - The water feed connection was loose (floating) and connected without insulation, exposing 120 volts (I got zapped!) The unit was a basket case. Several attempts to get the unit repaired did not produce any results other than the salesman promising that "a technician would be sent soon...". I had the unit serviced by a different company (a SubZero-authorized shop) - the icemaker had to be replaced with a new one as the old one was stuck mid-cycle (and looked in fairly bad shape). Still working on other issues. So... sharing as one data point - this may be the exception, but the service experience after the sale was not good regardless. Not recommended, avoid

Stay away from FV Appliances unless you want to buy broken products with no after-sell support. It's a scam, they sell you products that have problems, get paid in cash, and disappear forever. I spent a good amount purchasing all kitchen appliances and every single one of them did not work properly and I had to spend more money trying to get it fixed, wasted money.
