After my experience with the man, I disagree with anyone claiming Ted Moen is a man of integrity. I've been vacationing in Georgia since the late 80's, the last 12 years spending 3 to 4 months each season in Wrightsville. I've found the people here are honest, God fearing and hard working folks always willing to lend a hand or offer a smile. I had Ted come by my place back in January, 2021 to look over my job and provide an estimate. When he left, Ted said he'd get back to me in " a couple days". By the end of February, I'd returned home yet had not heard back from Ted Moen with the estimate so I sent a text asking if perhaps he'd lost my info. He did respond and apologized, saying he's get back to me. It was nearly 6 weeks later before Ted sent me an estimate. No matter, I accepted the estimate and advised I'd contact him to come do the job once I was back to Georgia in September, 2021. I got back to Ted in September to advise I'd be coming back a few weeks late because I'd just been released from the hospital after spending 5 weeks in Intensive Care with Covid. Advising that was no problem, Ted's words were "I'll be listening out for you". On both November 2nd and November 13th, I sent Ted Moen a text advising I was here in Wrightsville and he could start my job when ready. I've not heard from the man since. Here it is a year later and I write this only after seeing the review where someone refers to Mr. Moen as a man of integrity. I'm aware his business was building a home over on Oliver Road at the time, among other projects, and also aware my project was worth only a few thousand dollars. I'm happy his business is prosperous but that doesn't mean he should skip the common decency of making a simple call or text advising he was running behind or no longer wanted the job . In the world I'm from, this is not how you treat people. One thing for sure, I will continue telling this story to the nice folks of Wrightsville.

I cannot say enough good things about Ted Moen and his work. Ted is not just a builder; he is a craftsman of the highest order. If you have to wait six months to get on his list, then wait. You'll have no regrets. Honest (not inexpensive) but worth every cent. One of the few last men of real integrity left. You'll be delighted you got to know this man.
