Included in the kit are the pills you will need for colon cleansing and a powder to add to your Gatorade drink which you will need to cleanse you out. That's fine. But the kit ALSO INCLUDES two envelopes of powdered Gatorade mix, three envelopes of off-brand powdered chicken broth, a small box of off-brand lemon jello, and five "Tush wipes". I resented being told to purchase this by my doctor and then, later: Yeah, they don't take insurance. Why not? These are pills and powder I need for my colonoscopy! Oh, I know why! Insurance won't pay for my tush wipes, my jello and chicken broth. And I could have bought my own Gatorade, as this is just over-the-counter powdered mix. Plus, with the prior prep kits, fleet and go-lightly, the container is provided. You have to provide the container and do the measuring yourself with this kit. This is not an improvement. I pay for my insurance. I should be able to use this insurance for these needed items. NO THANK YOU to the Colon Prep Kits as sold through Accu Health! My procedure was scheduled in short order. I did not have time to research this and request a Rx from my doctor. I read on BizJournal they developed this business based on confusion of patients and not keeping appointments. That is not me. I am being required to buy this and denied using my insurance. An extra pill to toss?
