BUYER BEWARE A shady business I am a single father struggling to raise my little girl. USIT found me on Work Market; an open board website where anyone claiming to be a technician in the US can sign up and find work by filling out a simple online application. USIT said they had a job for me in Brooklyn so I paid a baby sitter and caught the train from Queens to Brooklyn with hopes that I would at least make enough money to feed my daughter. After working my fingers to the bone USIT made every excuse not to pay me. They made me beg for my pay. I pleaded with their gate keeper, Laura. Laura was extremely nasty to me. After two weeks of begging USIT finally agreed to pay me a portion of the money owed. This company claims to be a huge nationwide company but they go to these open boards to hire technicians. I doubt if they even have their own technicians. They send clients technicians that they have never met, interviewed, or background checked. They don’t even know if the technician really has experience; it’s all about the money. I have never done anything underhanded to get by, even when it comes to feeding my daughter so the client was safe with me but USIT could have sent a rapist or murderer to the client. They don’t know who they are sending. After working for USIT I did some research and found several others that USIT took advantage of. Do yourself a favor; stay away from this company.
