Premier Shutters and Blinds of Virginia's heritage of style, quality and value can be traced back to Chesapeake Va with a single wallpaper and window treatment shop in 1984. It all started with our father once he retired from Va Beach Police dept. While providing the community with beautiful custom furniture for many years, he discover his true passion was in making blinds and plantation shutters, which he did with the same high quality standards as his furniture. To keep up with the changing demands, he created a large factory in Chesapeake Va back in 1988, then further expanding to Florida and North Carolina. The concept was simple: offer customers great quality, style and value. With his guidance and knowledge he introduced his children to the business in 1990. Their progression led them to be one of the most well known factories in the area. Ultimately, the most important lesson for us was this: offer customers something unique and back it up with world-class customer service. In 2004 the company was down sized and moved to Northern Va and Maryland where the economy was still going strong. This is when we branched out on our own, staying in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia and also creating a new location in Winchester Va. Servicing Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, Suffolk, Norfolk, Hampton, Newport News, Yorktown, Williamsburg, Richmond, Maryland, Dc, Winchester, and Northern VA.
