I don't often post reviews, but my experience with Red Square was SO HORRIBLE I feel obliged to. I bought a swim suit from Red Square on vacation this summer. I wore it the next day to the pool and was in the water for less than an hour when the color from the black & red trim bled all over the white body of the suit. I took it back to Red Square to ask that they send the suit back and refund my money. The owner told me, "first off, we have a no refund policy, but this kind of thing has never happened before." He agreed that the colors should never have run. He offered an exchange for another suit, but I'd tried on a dozen or more suits two days prior and there wasn't anything else in the store that would work. The owner simply refused to work with me on this, insisting on exchange only even though they didn't stock any style that would work for me. During our discussion he: 1) Suggested I get a larger size, even though he originally told me it fit great & that I should buy it 2) Told me I was a "pain in the a**" the first day I came in because I tried on too many suits 3) Called the police on me when I continued to ask that he refund my money! 4) Insinuated that I'd done something to the suit to cause the problem 5) Agreed only to send me a new one in 3 weeks, which when it finally arrived was the wrong one btw Bottom line, this was one of my WORST buying experiences ever. There are so many reputable, friendly shops in Provincetown; AVOID THIS ONE!
