Do not use this lawyer. He gave me false information in regards to whether or not debt with the department of finance was declarable in bankruptcy. He told me that the debt was covered without looking in to the matter (that he knew nothing about) and as a result I had to pay out 5,000 dollars in garnished tax refund checks for the next 4 years. If I had waited just 6 months before declaring, the debt would have been covered. He refused to take ownership of the mistake he made (and acknowledged he made). Though it was an extremely difficult process overall dealing with this issue, I am not faulting him so much on making a mistake as much as refusing to take ownership. There are plenty of other bankruptcy attorneys in Fayetteville. Pick another one.
