I recently took a MIG welding class from Calumet Welding Center. I had a great experience. The school is really designed for students interested in pursuing a career as a welder. Although I am more of a hobbyist they were very accommodating to what I was wanting to get out of the class – a solid understanding of the MIG process. They exceeded my expectations in every respect. Basically the school is built around the old saying that “practice makes perfect” because from the moment you walk onto the shop floor you will practice welding until your hands fall off or your welds are perfect. The instructor is excellent and his dedication to his occupation and his students is apparent. I met several students who were taking the full welding course and they were also pleased with the product that Calumet Welding Service was providing. Whether a hobbyist or someone interested in pursuing a career I highly recommend this school.
