Haitianart.com- Our Story After opening her first Haitian Art Studio in Boca Raton during the late 1980’s, Katie Barr expanded her presence throughout South Florida, and in particular, the downtown area of Delray Beach. In 1996, her passion for the unique and brilliant appeal of Haitian Art inspired her to open an internet gallery, www.HaitianArt.com. Over the years, she established a vast clientele with visiting celebrities like Jimmy Buffett, the late Jonathan Demme and Leon Russell. Savvy art buyers to novice collectors are soon joining a growing base of Haitian art fans spurred on by Katie's efforts. Katie is currently putting her focus on art promotion through private showings, book readings and her website HaitianArt.com.
