S&S Directional Drilling is a newly formed partnership that began providing underground boring services for the pipeline construction industry in Nove For years, natural gas companies have been producing fuel from "conventional" gas reservoirs, relatively close to the surface and easily accessible. New shale gas production techniques have opened much wider areas for exploration, including the Marcellus area in Pennsylvania, the Barnett Shale in Texas and the Haynesville Shale in East Texas and North Louisiana among others. With the dramatic growth in shale exploration and the need for new infrastructure, S&S Directional Drilling was formed to assist the pipeline construction companies as well as the exploration and production companies in bringing these much needed resources from the wellhead to the end-users.
