The attorney for the company settled with me on or about Feb. 9, 2018 and by law a plaintiff must dismiss a case once a settlement is agreed upon. Additionally, this complaint can be reviewed under case# 27515605 with the BBB, the Georgia Department of Consumer Protection File# 406128 and Department of Public Safety File# 631. Most times when a consumer calls in with a complaint the owner of K O Towing is extremely rude with his language and will hang up the phone in the middle of a conversation. Overall the company has to be the worst towing company in the nation because of racial remarks and dangerous towing practices; especially when you can smell alcohol on the towing drivers breath. I have boycotted the company for about a year by distributing flyers with the State of Georgia; complaint numbers reviewable to the public. Many business owners that have the KO Towing signage posted on their properties are now calling other towing companies because they are not bound by law to use the sign that is posted on the property as long as they notify the owner of a vehicle of the property from which a vehicle is being towed (a sticker placed on the window of the vehicle is usually the way that it is done); for example Martin House, a Senior Living Facility located on MLK Jr. Drive in Atlanta, Ga. now uses Buckhead Towing Service.
