Paint and paint with primer are not sealants and therefore cannot cover and will break down or bleed depending on surface conditions sometime after the contractor leaves. No shakedown later estimates. An unforeseen problem is dealt with on a case by case basis, though very rare.. No down payments, that you may see the quality of the work first, and the risk put on me. High end paints(Benjamin Moore) are always used to ensure top quality. Big chain store paints are not recommended or used. We do not "paint around" objects. It ruins technique and may make more work eventually. Before painting doors, all hardware is removed. On ceilings: smoke detectors, light fixtures, HVAC registers are removed. On walls: handrails, window hardware, registers etc. Each job has challenges, but that means doing it right the first time, no shortcuts. Cutting preparation is a shortcut.
