Newton Woodworks started as a hobby for Paul Newton right out of high school when a friend gave him a nice wood slab. A spark was ignited. He found a tree stump that worked as a base, and his first table was built. Though it was merely an occasional hobby at that point, it slowly grew to a small side business that has occupied more and more of his time and energy. Many decades later, retirement from his contracting business has allowed him to devote all of his efforts to designing and building.
