Michael Aiello Jr. started this business in 1988 when both he and his wife, Becky, were laid off from Westinghouse. With three children at home and no way to support them, Mike decided to go into the family trade, shoe repair. He opened a small facility in Delmont, PA where he began selling safety shoes and boots to local industries. Thus, began Delmont Industrial Boot Supply, now known as D.I.B.S.
