Modica Fine Art Appraisal LLC was formed by Melanie Modica upon completing the American Society of Appraisers' (ASA) Certificate Program in Appraisal Studies in Fine and Decorative Arts at the University of California, Irvine. Melanie acquired the Specialized Studies Certificate in Connoisseurship Studies in Fine Arts, also from UCI. She is affiliated with the American Society of Appraisers (ASA). The ASA is an international organization of appraisal professionals and requires reaccreditation and continuing education programs of all accredited members. MFAA reports are written in compliance with The Appraisal Foundation's Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) and uphold the ASA Code of Ethics.
