BK Residential Construction, LLC (DBA Legendary Communities in AL, GA, NC & SC) Our lot is in Airy Springs community of Powdersville, SC. We went under contract to build at the end of 6/2012 and closed on 12/28/2012. HoA covenants clearly state "All builders and the owner of each lot, improved or unimproved, shall keep the same free of tall grass, undergrowth, dead trees, dangerous tree limbs, weeds trash and rubbish..." There are a number of fallen trees, briars and other undergrowth and rubbish. There are also trees that pose a safety risk to adjoining neighbors' property. All of which should have been remedied prior to closing. Insects and snakes now thriving in underbrush pose health/safety risk to family/pets. After 4 months of making no headway with the superintendent and his bosses, I filed a BBB complaint (search Legendary Communities) which was ignored and caused their rating to drop from a B+ to an F. Communications/Customer service are very poor. I have posted negative reviews on Angie’s List and other forums, and will do so with builder’s associations in AL, GA, NC & SC. Buyer beware!
