Gutter Helmet® started in the early 1960s, when Bob Demartini, an alumnus of MIT began to develop a meshless gutter cover system. Clogged gutters had concerned him for some time and Bob wanted to give homeowners an alternative to cleaning their gutters or installing flimsy gutter screens.
