In 1989 Jeff Smith (The inventor of EZ2CY) recognized the advantages of coated fabric, educated the public on its merits and made it standard for EZ2CY enclosures. In the process he visited the Swiss Company where it was coated and the sub-contracted weaving mill in Germany to learn as much about the product as possible. Jeff, by means of EZ2CY set the pace that others in the industry would follow. Now a new fabric made to Jeffs specifications is available to Marine Fabricators.
