Pride Custom Painting If you’re thinking about hiring this contractor, read on. I hired him to stain/seal my aging (now deceased) in-laws lakehouse. Took over one year (Spring ’15 to August ’16) to finally get to it. We paid 25% up front for materials, and promptly paid remainder within one week of being mailed an invoice. Here’s what I got: Stain was sprayed on, not brushed as a good quality job should have been- my fault for assuming. Most windows had stain splatters on glass and the aluminum clad trim. Outdoor light fixtures and receptacle cover showed splatters. About a 10x8 foot section on back of house did not get stained. Now that he’s been paid, he won’t answer phone calls or return emails.
