Tackle Technologies is an environmentally friendly product manufacturer based in Long Beach, MS on the Mississippi Coast along Interstate 10. Based in a 30,000 sq. ft production facility, Tackle manufactures their main product called Spill Tackle; a superior universal industrial absorbent that is USDA 98% bio-preferred and EPA compliant. Spill Tackle is 4x times more effective than clay absorbents and is environmentally safe for disposal. The absorbent is universal and can absorb fluids such as hydraulic fluid, used oil, motor oil, transimission fluid, anti-freeze, grease, paint, latex, pet waste, and chemicals such as round up. Tackle manufactures spill kits, bucket spill kits, emergency spill kits, oil well spill kits, and facility spill kits. Spill Tackle meets the standard for the EPA's NCP for Oil Spill Response as a sorbent material. Spill Tackle also bio degrades petroleum fluids on average in 63 days making it a safe material to dispose of. It also passed TCLP/TTLC Landfill Testing that includes the strictest regulations in California. Tackle is partnered with Ability works, Inc. of Mississippi to give jobs to workers who are trying to get back in the workforce. They bag and fill absorbent socks for the facility. Tackle is also partnered with The Lighthouse for the Blind of San Antonio, to bag and resell Spill Tackle as DuckSorb to the Federal Gov't Agencies including the Department of Defense and Defense Logistics Agency. Tackle Technologies, LLC., also has a product development department that looks to bring innovative products from recycled and repurposed material.
