I hired Mountain high builders for 3 projects. 1 was a remodel 1 was finish work on a new duplex. The 3rd was a new duplex. They are completely capable of giving a good product, however in my case they made critical errors by leaving out water block and ice shield in several areas. They made up a story that it was a snow load issue, which they're was a record snowfall, but the owner of Mountain High said it was just a rumor that it was leaking in 5 places.,and couldn't be his fault as there is also a special code omitting his liability after 6 inches of snow has accumulated.. These are his exact words. He even came up with more excuses as to why he wouldn't even go look at it eventhough it was 1/4 mi away from his office. I lived in Bend for 38 years and have never been treated like this. I have had to pay an attorney thousands in fees just to find out what my costs were as the owner of Mountain High Builders told me that the customer isn't supposed to see invoices or know the actual cost. There is so much more that I could post about their performance like how the project went over by $80,000, but the main reason I'm posting this is to let the public know that yes they can do a good job on basically any type of build maybe even commercial, but get your own contract, as they don't honor any estimates they give you.
