North shore power electric installed a Kohler 14 kw generator, when they came out they told us that we could do the whole 100 amp service with the unit because our A/C unit is very efficient, it only draws 12.5 amps. They even took a current draw test with the A/C on. To my surprised we were only drawing 29 amps with everything on, WOW. The other 2 contractors in the North shore said we needed a 20 kw unit, after doing a bit of research, I was surprised at how little power I need in my house. I appreciate the fact that Tony did not try to sell me a bigger generator then I needed, thanks for working within my budget, I definitely recommend this company to anyone looking to purchase a generator.
