I hired Empire Painting, and was asked to give a deposit of $980 for material. I wrote the check, it cashed the very same day. I spend three months after that playing phone tag with them. After that they stopped answering and refused to refund my money, as they said the company had a crooked employee that took off with it. I tried numerous times to come up with a reasonable solution to resolve this problem. It has been over a year, they have refused to complete the work or refund my money. I have had to contract another company to do the work. I would not recommend empire painting to anyone. I would also no recommend on giving them a deposit of any sort, as histroy tends to repeat itself.
