I cannot emphasize enough how AWFUL this company is! After six months of service, I finally ended it due to how exasperated I was with the company. The cable internet service was awful. Very slow and went out all the time. There is no over-the-phone or online technical support, just a technician who is in the area for a few hours three days a week. Getting ahold of anyone on the phone is nearly IMPOSSIBLE and is the number one reason I cancelled my service. Don't bother leaving messages, they won't call you back. Don't listen to their excuses... "We're shorthanded right now" or "So-and-so is out of town." It never changes. They avoid their customers at all costs. I had to call them over and over for a week and half to get my service cancelled, at which point I was in a new billing cycle. I was told to leave my modem on the front porch for the technician to pick up. It's been sitting out there, and I've been calling them, for three weeks. Finally got a hold of someone and I'm being told that they are holding my refund for the month I was wrongly billed for until they determine whether the modem is in working condition. "I wouldn't have told you to put it out on the front porch," the lady on the phone tells me. That's EXACTLY what I was told to do! First she tells me that the technician had already been to the house and HAD picked up a modem (um, what?). Then she tells me that the technician came to the house twice and couldn't find a modem! SCAMMERS!

NOT EVEN A FAN!! Have tried contacting NEW DAY 5 times now about issues with channels disappearing ! ABSOLUTELY NO RESPONSE except from the ADVERTISING DEPT., who has nothing to do with this issue. Ordered equipt to install NETFIX today. tired of being ignored as a paying patron by any company! Maybe enough of us will say ENOUGH OF THE ABUSE!!!!!

There is NO CHANCE ever I would recommend this company. I worked for one of the franchises in No Cal and when I left was given "a bonus" by Charter Comm of free cable service until 2013.....New Day would not honor this so I left them. There had been problems in our Portola system and when I tried to explain what could be done I believe it was Hiram that told me it was impossible. They has removed numerous channels and the quality of picture I see when I go to other homes is UNBELIEVABLY POOR.....I try to get acquaintances to leave this sinking ship.....BAD, BAD, BAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
