"My Sister's House" was a project that my Mother created to provide help for the battered women of Wilson County. Having worked in Domestic Violence Shelters the majority of my young life, she took great pride in her work. Helping many women and their children find the strength to stand tall and escape their abusers; she fought tooth and nail for their rights, and for their sanctuary. Unfortunately, my Mother passed away in 2022; only two weeks shy of her 63rd Birthday. Therefore making "My Sister's House" only a memory as she could not implement the business before her sudden passing. As her daughter, one would think I would remove this listing to avoid confusion for those seeking help, but I sadly lack the credentials.
