In March of 2009, SilverWind Power Corporation founded and is currently in the process of building an 24,000 megawatt Wind Turbine Farm in Arizona. The 'SilverWind Power Farm is a proposed 24,000 megawatts wind power energy plant, based in Arizona. It will use 6,000 wind turbines and have the highest capacity MW turbines that are produced in the world. The farm is expected to be constructed in multiple phases over a 5 year period. Upon completion, it will be the world's largest wind farm. The enormous project is being developed by Arizona based SilverWind Power Corporation. The sophisticated farm will be estimated to cost ($20.0) billion. The farm will cover over 500,000 acres in Northern Arizona. The Wind Farm will be controlled by a satellite.
