A not-for-profit canine rescue organization that works to adopt dogs to loving homes throughout 8 states from the Midwest to New England. AdoptALab.org is a not-for-profit animal rescue organization that works to increase awareness about adoptable dogs, Labrador retrievers and other "not-a-labs" facing euthanasia in overcrowded shelters. In addition to our adoption services, we offer free consulting on behavior related issues, referrals for training help, and more to our adopters and the public at large. Our dogs come from shelters all over the South and Midwest, where we are facing a continuing problem of over-population in adoptable, family dogs. We find these dogs homes in a wider area of potential adopters by transporting these dogs to their new homes, wherever that might be in our service area.
