We are a newly established consulting type business geared towards helping the Hispanic American community. We offer training programs, communication assistance, and information to assist in the betterment of future opportunities for Hispanic Americans all over.

Dr. Abrahamson has been coaching and mediating since graduating with a Ph.D. from Northwestern University in 1984. She helps adults and adolescents through the particular struggles of our time: tension between couples, parenting frustration, blending new families, separation and divorce, (un)employment, cancer, and loss. With reason and moderation she assists people in shifting from fear and hopelessness to problem-solving and respect. When relationships come to an impasse, she uses mediation techniques to try to ensure that each party will have his/her needs heard and accounted for in a dignified way. In addition to talking, listening, and reframing, she utilizesuse the tools of metaphor, active teaching, role-playing, visualization, and occasionally hypnotherapy.

Candida Abrahamson has been a Chicago-area mediator, life coach and counselor since graduating with her PhD in Northwestern. She does family and couples therapy, grief and cancer counseling, and works on coaching clients with life management skills. In addition to hypnotherapy, she also mediates for families and businesses, as well as in cases of divorce.
