Dan Corning started Mountaindog Woodworks in 2006 in Mammoth Lakes, California, but that is not where his career in wood working began. Dan instructed woodworking for many years and managed the wood working shop at San Diego State. Later Dan earned his MFA degree in Sculpture at the prestigious Cranbrook Academy of Art. Over the years he has worked for many accomplished contractors and artist.
