I have been living in one of their properties for close to 3 years. I have NEVER been late on rent. My front door has had cracks in it since moving in. After it got stuck before, Thanksgiving I pushed the door to open it. It put a hole right through the door. As a good tenant that rarely asks for anything, I expected this to be repaired in a timely fashion. A piece of plywood was put on my door. The landlord told me that "he'll get to it when he has time". 2 weeks later, still no repairs. Mr. Beck told me, I can "deal with it or move". I have been renting houses for 20 years. I have NEVER experienced such rude responses and an overall lack of empathy as I have recently. A good tenant is sought by all landlords. Low maintenance and always current on rent. I would not recommend anyone to rent from them. When you need anything done, it will be repaired at their leisure. You will not feel valued as a tenant. I really like the house and neighborhood. That's why I have been there this long. This recent treatment has me feeling that I may need to move. It is ridiculous to pay rent on time every month and then be told that repairs may take three weeks to a month. Beck Property Management does not care about its' tenants.
