I had never sold a piece of jewelry before, so I was a bit overwhelmed by trying to find a place to do the appraisal and researching how appraisals work. I was so relieved when a friend recommended Diamond and Estate Trust, and I was even more relieved once I arrived for the appraisal. From the moment I walked in the door, everyone was really friendly and down to earth. The way they explained the jewelry selling process with me made it sound like they really love what they’re doing. And when the owner gave me an offer, he told me exactly why the offer ended up where it was. We talked through the piece I was selling (an old ring that I found in my attic – think it belonged to my great grandmother). He told me what made it valuable and gave me some time to think about whether I wanted to accept the offer. I felt comfortable, and the offer seemed fair, so I accepted. The best part is that I actually walked out with the money a few minutes later. I didn’t even have to wait in line (how often does that happen?!?). … If you’re like me and know nothing about selling jewelry, you want to go somewhere you can trust won’t try to slip a fast one by you. This is the place to go. They’re awesome.
