Do Not recommend to anyone! I hired Mr. Tim Reen (Goose Lake, Ia) to assemble a General Steel shop building in 2018. There were small issues during the building process with work around to make it work in the end (i.e. misread/didnt read directions for foundation anchor bolt locations and had to cut off bolts set in concrete and glue in anchors in correct location). A few support components were left uninstalled and told they didnt fit and weren't important, which I ended up installing on my own. The biggest issue to me was that the roof leaked in several places since it was new. Mr. Reen attempted to fix it twice, the first time by replacing part of the roof and the second by adding a case of caulk... Neither helped in any way to address the leaks and I now have 12 buckets in my building to catch water from rain and snow melt. I had the roof inspected and there were a a dozen issues identified where the directions for sealant strips were blatantly ignored and left out. Also carelessness in screw placement resulted in over 100 (I counted) screws that missed perlins and create leak points. From on the roof it is clear that the zig zagging row if screws couldn't possibly have all hit the perlins anyway... At this point Mr. Reen has refused to help cover the cost of replacing the roof (as required to fix the leaks per the inspectors report) and I will be out another 30k to 40k to have his mistakes fixed. Again I could not recommend his services to anyone, and if you make the mistake of hiring him as I did be prepared to pay for a second roof for your brand new building and factor that into your initial budget.
