Senior News is a 24-page monthly newspaper distributed on the coast Northwest California. Senior News is published by Humboldt Senior Resource Center. Senior News is a 24-page monthly newspaper distributed along a 150-mile stretch of the Northwest California coast. Senior News has been published by the Humboldt Senior Resource Center since 1981 telling stories of local seniors and local issues of importance to seniors, their families and caregivers. The small staff is augmented by community volunteer writers and by senior volunteers who distribute 5,000 FREE newspapers to more than 100 locations from Crescent City to Garberville. News articles and public service announcements for Senior News should be sent by the 12th of the month for the next month's publication to [email protected]. Circulation: 13,000 monthly: 5,000 distributed from Garberville to Crescent City; 8,000 included in the last Tuesday issue of the Times-Standard for subscribers. Retail/Display Advertising in Senior News on pages 2 thru 24 is available at the following rates: $20.00-22.00 per column inch for Full Color; $18.00 per column inch for B/W.
