Established in 1933, the Milwaukee East Side office building, located at 1684 N Prospect Ave., was constructed in the 1880s as a private residence overlooking Lake Michigan. It continued to be a private home until the 1940s. In 1946 Dr. Raymond Warner purchased the building. After extensive remodeling, Dr. Warner opened an eye clinic in early 1947. Initially really nervous about the potential to have my eyes fixed with the PRK, I still scheduled an appointment with Milwaukee Eye Care Associates at their Brookfield location. Let me tell you that was one of the best decisions I have ever made!! The pre-screening was easy and they were very flexible working around my ever changing schedule. What impressed me most was they had the utmost confidence that they could help me pursue my dream of joining the military with perfect vision! After the PRK surgery and during the recovery phase, everything had been carefully laid out and planned to ensure that I recovered 100%. I have never had such caring, professional, and knowledgable staff!! I feel like family every time I walk in to my follow up appointments. Dr. Jason Edmonds was absolutely fantastic and amazing and I would recommend him to anyone who is looking at fixing their vision!! His skill, patience and compassion is clearly evident in his practice. Please don't hesitate if you have ever thought about vision corrective surgery!! There is no pressure and they will only charge you for an eye exam if you decide this isn't something you would want to do. But let me tell you I am a firm believer in the procedure and its results!! Don't hesitate!! Prefect vision can be in your future as well. It was worth every penny!!
