Dr. Samantha Ritchie is a board certified Family Physician who has lived in the Olympia area with her husband and daughter for over 10 years. She also earned her medical degree from the Medical College of Pennsylvania. When Dr. Ritchie became a physician, she knew almost immediately that she wanted to be a country doctor. She spent the next 20 years working between Olympia and McCleary. Dr. Ritchie has been honored by the Washington Rural Health Association, an organization that advocated for better rural health services, as its Outstanding Rural Health Practitioner for 2009. She has chosen to join Vantage Physicians so she can continue to treat patients as whole people, and take the time she needs to address patient wellness. Dr. Ritchie also uses her skills on trips with a nonprofit group called Friends of Haiti, bringing medical care to Haitians who would otherwise never see a doctor. Dr. Ritchie runs the travel medicine program at St. Peter’s and helps our patients who are planning trips out of the country to ensure they have all of the vaccines and medications required to keep them healthy. She and her husband enjoy spending time sailing and rowing in Puget Sound.

Jana Raines is a passionate dreamer who thrives on embracing life and all of its wonderment. A life long gardener and aspiring herbalist, Jana chose to move further into the healing arts. In 2008 she enrolled in the Port Townsend School of Massage and began dedicating her time and energy towards learning and experiencing many of the modalities of massage therapy as well as anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology. She has chosen Deep Tissue as her modality of choice and has developed a keen sense for detecting misalignments in the body. Integrating the relaxing aspects of Swedish Massage with the therapeutic properties of Deep Tissue, she has developed a slow, strong style of massage that can be tailored to meet the needs of everyone.
